BRAIN machıne ınterfaces: from basıc scıence to neuroprostheses and neurologıcal recovery

As the Cerrahpaşa Neuroscience Society and its SIGN chapter, we continue the "Cerrahpasa Neuroscience Talks" seminar series with its eighth session. Our guest speaker in this session, Miguel Nicolelis, professor of neuroscience at Duke University and founder of the Neuroengineering Center at Duke, will be talking about neuroprostheses and neurological recovery.

Miguel Nicolelis, a graduate of the University of Sao Paolo School of Medicine, continued his academic career at Drexel School of Medicine and later became a full-time professor at Duke University School of Medicine. Known for his pioneering work surrounding brain-computer interface technology, Nicholelis' work has been published in distinguished journals such as Nature and Science. He made a splash all over the world with his books such as Beyond Borders.

We would be happy to see you all at our online seminar titled "Brain Machine Interfaces: From Basic Science to Neuroprostheses and Neurological Recovery", which will be held on Thursday, March 14th at 8 PM GMT+3.

Note: The seminar will be conducted in English. The event link will be shared with participants via email.
